The Big Issue Magazine Front Cover Practice

 

I created this Big Issue Magazine front cover, and used Marcus Rashford as he shares similiar values to the Magazine. I made the colour scheme simple but effective, as the colours match his football kit. I also used him as he is a form of star appeal, as people are able to identify him as he is well known. The intertextual text; 'food for thought' refers to his food bank charity, which also aligns with the Big issue values. This was good practice for me, as it helped me get familar with how to navigate photoshop, and I also believe that it will help me in my NEA.

GCSE NEA

This is my GCSE NEA work, the brief was to create three print adverts to promote a joint subscription to Print and Online products, and the adverts would be found in Newspapers and Magazines. With the help of Canva, I was able to generate these three print adverts. This would be helpful to me, as I've had practice in creating media products that align with the theme of magazines.
